What is Lifeline & ACP?
The Lifeline program, operated by the government, aims to assist eligible low-income individuals by subsidizing phone services. Eligible participants can receive a free smartphone along with monthly service benefits. To qualify, individuals must meet either income-based criteria or program-based eligibility guidelines. Income eligibility is determined as 135% or less than the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Furthermore, the Lifeline program restricts benefits to one per household.
